It has come to the attention of ktimes that several leaders have been secretly rehearsing for ktv's pop idol.

AJ has undergone an intensive course learning to ply the triangle from scratch. "I have never had much musical talent", he told our reporter, "...until now". We believe he may be hoping to do the Abba classic 'Dancing queen' accompanying himself with just the triangle. The challenge of becoming k2002's pop idol clearly is a big incentive for him.

Meanwhile Ray "axeman" Giles has been playing several gigs in the South East this year. "I was just helping out a friend, playing for a Winter Ball at our church", he claimed, but our reporters were present at that event and can exclusively report that the axeman is an excellent guitarist who will give the favourite, Andi Britt, a run for his money.

If the bookies were offering odds ktimes would put it's shirt (if it wore one) on the axeman, but keep an eye out for the cooks who can often be heard practising whilst cooking in the kitchens. Rumours of them singing several Nolan sisters' classics may not be idle speculation.
