As
the Venture draws ever nearer ktimes goes
behind the scenes to meet the people in
charge. While Marian Browne has been working
hard taking bookings for the Venture and
sorting out the accommodation at Kepplewray
Rory has been hard at work playing pool:
"It's not as easy as it seems",
he said. "I've had to stop and
make my own coffee several times since
Christmas as Marian has been too busy
with Venture business".
Meanwhile, Jane Ditchfield has been working
hard as treasurer sorting out all the
finance issues and Tim Ditchfield has
been asleep in a dorm up in Kepplewray
since last August. "It's been
a bit of an inconvenience", said
a Kepplewray worker who refused to be
named said. "We have had complaints
about his snoring from people using the
dorm, but we didn't feel able to disturb
him".
Rory
Browne and Tim Ditchfield are old enough
to know better.
